I am curious to know if anyone has experienced a connection between severe coughing and an allergy to wheat. I suffered from a severe cough for many years, saw a number of doctors and specialists and was given gastroscopic analysis, I have had many prescriptions over the years (30+)- currently I am using Losec 20mg (1 per day. The Losec helps the indigestionIndigestion Irritable bowel syndrome problem, but provides littleLittle noses decongestant Little tummys help for the coughing and associated sputum until I discovered that staying off of wheat in every for. Since I stopped usning wheat, I have no sputum buildup, virtually no indigestion. My doctor and specialist tell me that there is no connection, yet I can see a considerable difference.
