My son presently still has constipation, and he's almost thirteen. The doctor's going to finally order an MRI on the lumber of the spine. Just curious why she'd look there. How is that related to constipation problems?
I have no idea. My son is 14 and gets constipated some here too.
Have you tried Fleet glycerin suppositories?
I know they sound bad, but it is better on the body and more convenient than the pills.
I use them for my son here. They can take it alone, so that is helpful.
Drop me a line here or a note and let me know if that helps!
Talk to you soon,
Matt
So you don't know why your son gets constipated too. Have you had any major tests done? I just feel we can't keep going on like this so the doctor's ordering an MRI on the lumber part of the spine, which I have know idea how that correlates with constipation. Maybe I'll try the suppositories, but I kind of want to wait, and see what the tests show or don't show.
My 15 year old son is also constipated and has been since a small child. He has motility issues. For him, they did a colonoscopy. He takes a capful of MIralax daily and this seems to help. If you miss a dose though, it throughs him off for a couple of days.
