coughing

by coughting, Sep 23, 2008 12:38PM
I am having Nissen by lap in Oct.   I have had a cough for about 8 years and finally they have ruled everything else out.
I had the 24 hr ph test and it showed that my cough was associated with reflux.
I was wondering what to expect after surgery.  How long until I can eat most foods.  How were others cough after surgery.  Can I expect to lose weight and does it stay off.  I weigh about 140.  I also have chrons which is doing great now after surgery a little over a year ago.  Great surgeon and he will do the Nissen
