coughing

I have had a reoccuring cough for about 8 years.  About the time that I developed chrons.  I have had bowel resection and my chrons is doing great.  The cough of course had nothing to do with the chrons.
I have reflux and had the 24hr ph test which shows that i cough when I have reflux.  Had many many test during the past 6 months and finally have decided to have the Nissen.  I very very seldom had any heartburn.

I was wondering if anyone else had only the cough from reflux and if the Nissen helped.  Also, how long it took to be able to eat regular food.  The Dr. told me I would always have to eat slow and chew my food well.  Also, what about weight loss and did it stay off.

All I really want is to have the cough gone
