could it be adhesions

Hd my gall bladder removed in june 2009 i was told by my specialist that it was a blessing i had the gall bladder surgery because he found  that my small intestine is looped up to an old bowel op scar. I can tell you the pain and aching is awfull i have rib ache stomach ache back ache i  had a ct scan and an ultra sound and then this week ive had a MRI scan im to have my surgery  to remove this scar tissue in january hoping then i will be without pain hope this helps someone as it seems common for people to have pain after there gall bladder surgery i will update after my surgery

Hi, I've been having pain in the same areas that you describe.  I also have terrible constipation.  My bowels are only moving once or twice a week and about every two weeks I will an episode of diarrhea that last only a couple of hours, but will produce 9 to 12 bms.  The thing is, it's been over twenty years since I had my gallbladder removed.  Occasionally I will have nausea after eating and can only eat small amounts of food or the pain is terrible.  My hubby, who's an RN thinks it's adhesions.  Guess time will tell, I've not been to the doc yet, keep thinking it will go away, but so far it's been going on for three months.
