cramps, nausea after eating, high white blood cell count no answers

I have had diarrhea for over ten years. Very predictably it would happen every morning for 3-4 hrs after waking. Although an inconvenience, I was living with it by getting up every morning 3-4 hrs. early. Then the new family doc. I went to after moving to a new area said that I need to have that taken care of. I told him I was find, but he insisted on doing something to find out why I was having diarrhea.

The doc gave blood test and all came back negative, except for slight elevated white blood cell count. They tried me on different anti diarrhea meds. all of which would work for a time and then my body would get used to it. The doc dropped the issue for a while after the blood tests b.c I told him,"When I was a teen I was diagnosed with IBS with constipation, I just assumed it had switched to IBS with diarrhea. Then about one year later I started to not be able to digest my food. Things like lettuce would still be in tact and floating in the water after a bm. So went back to doc and he did more tests, more blood work. All negative. Fam doc sent me to gastro guy.

Gastro guy gave me a full colonoscopy and edg with biopsy. Right after the procedure I tried putting myself on a no gluten diet. Auto immune runs in my family and I thought that celiac might me cause. I figured that right after my colonoscopy would be a good time because most of the stuff in my colon was cleaned out with prep for that procedure. By time I went back for follow up my diarrhea was gone, and I felt good. Could even eat lettuce again, (I love salad). The only problem was that I was becoming anemic. My legs were cramping and would have charlie horses in them for days at a time. The gastro guy said that was because I was not a celiac and that was a terrible diet and to get off of it regardless if it helped my diarrhea. So I did. The gastro guy said that my results came back negative except an elevated, (9), white blood cell count and mild inflammation in the lower stomach.

Soon after starting to eat gluten again my stomach started to hurt, mid upper stomach right under sternum. I could count the hours, (3), from putting anything into my mouth and the time I would start cramping and nausea until I wished I could die. I would have it so bad. No amount of prilosec, or prevecid, or bentyl, or donatel would help. Cold water, eggs, most everything would make me sick to my stomach. It was debilitating. The fam. doc. gave me tests for all sorts of things and all came back negative, except for slightly higher (12.5) white blood cell count.

The docs still do not know what is wrong and have thought it was all in my head, but I know better. (To anyone else who has been told this, DO NOT LET THEM THINK YOU ARE CRAZY). Yes, I am depressed, but it is due to the debilitating effect that this thing has had on my life. I can't clean my house half of the time and have to recruit help when it gets too bad. I am a returning, older college student trying to get an education so that I can better my life. I can barely attend classes anymore, including art ones which are my favorite and used to be easy A's for me.

I am not cured, but I have found a way to relive my symptoms naturally. I use candied ginger. It makes my nausea and cramping disappear when I eat a piece as soon as I feel it onset. However, the one concern I have is now that I have numbed the nausea and cramping, it feels sore and tender to the touch in that exact same area. Kind of feels like sore muscles from a work out, except I have done no work out and no abdominal exercises of any kind. My mother swears up and down that it is my gallbladder and that it doesn't work at all. She had hers out several years ago and the doctors said that it looked as though it had never worked.

This leads to several unanswered questions.

1. Is it possible to have all of my tests come back negative and still have a non functioning gallbladder like my mother did?

2. I am also gaining weight instead of loosing it and I have not been able to eat right. The only things that I have been able to eat for the past month, until 3 days ago when I started taking the candied ginger, is small bite sized pieces of grilled bourbon chicken over rice and cottage cheese. (The bourbon chicken may have ginger in it.) Eggs and even cold water sends me strait into cramps and nausea. WHY AM I NOT EATING MUCH BUT GAINING SO MUCH WEIGHT.? Since two weeks after the colonoscopy one month ago, I have eaten maybe once a day, and sometimes not even that but I have gained about 20lbs. What is causing this?

The exact same thing has been happening to me for over two years same thing white blood cell count elevated I feel super miserable and sick Everytime I eat sometimes when I don't even eat sometimes it'll affect my blood pressure and breathing too and lately the last couple months I've been having these strange attacks where I start shaking bad get hot and start instantaneously sweating I'll feel sick and like im going to faint and Everytime just about im sitting down my grandmother said the attacks sounded like low blood sugar but they tested me for diabetes and thyroid and all came back normal aside from my white blood cell count and im waiting to get in with a gastrologist to so a sonogram on my stomach but same with me all the stuff happening to you is exactly what I described to my doctor and for three months straight I have water like diarrhea and 85% of the time it's almost like a dandelion yellow and I'll poop more in the day than I'll even pee... I don't understand it either but when something is seriously wrong with you you just KNOW and that's what I've been trying to explain to my loves ones and doctors is that I KNOW something is wrong and my greatest fear is to fidn out years on down the line it's stomach cancer or something insane!! It's very stressful and greatly does affect your mobility when it comes to having the energy to get up and take care of business around the house or running errands because you just want to lay in bed or in the bath to just try to feel better all the time ..
