dark tongue

Me and my husband had some spicy oily stuff the other nite. As he has acidity problem he took some peptobismol later in the nite. When he got up in the morning n went to the bathroom he found out his tongue to be completely darkish brown colored. Gosh we were so scared as the sight was horrible. We were about to take doc's appointment then he suggested to look for it in the net. Thanks to you guys that we found pepto to be the real criminal here as it turned the tongue dark. Ahh we were relieved !!!!

yep pepto will freak people out if they do not know about that happening.  Also if you drink purple gatorade or koolaid etc it can cause greenish stool :)
