kindly give me further explanation about my health problem. do ineed to undergo an operation. is this a cancerous? how seroius is my health condition?
Definitely get more tests. You need to make sure that there is no mass there. And, too, if you do need a WHIPPLE surgery, don't let the doctors delay if it can be helped. This happened with my friend who needed this complex surgery. I'm not sure why when the mass was found in May about three years ago, the doctors waited 'til September to do the surgery. By then all they could do was close her back up and tell her family
that the cancer had already spread to the liver. It was clearly already throughout the liver or they would've talked about surgery involving removing a portion of the liver with her family
. She went through the usual cancer treatments that people go through for any cancer, and she lived much longer than most do with this type of cancer, but not as long after diagnosis as Patrick Swayze did.
I'm pretty sure a very specialized surgeon is needed for this type of surgery, but don't delay in getting the surgery, if this is what this is. I'm still confused as to why the surgeons delayed in the surgery when it is known how fast pancreatic cancer spreads.
