i have had diarrea (diarrhea) for 4 months now i had colonoscopy due to colon cancer runs in family and i have had problems with polyps in the past years 2 months ago  they took a lining biopsy of the linng of my stomach as well stool sample stool sample came back ok but biopsy abnormal said he was going to call it colits put me on anti bodoies no result changed to another one no results then put me on prednosoine still no results then for 2 weeks i started throwing up at least 1 or more meals a day but i have not lost weight during all this i gain this i cant figure out
my diarrea (diarrhea) is usually first 2-3 hours when  i get up in the morning and late afternoon i have had a few times i had no warning what so ever i had to go and have had to change clothes this is very embarssing to a 57 year old woman at these times it is pure water other times very runny to thick or floating type diarrea (diarrhea)  occasional blood bright red dr said he didnt think i was loosing much and was not worried about the bleeding

With your history, and bleeding, I would not settle for a doctor who thought it was nothing to worry about.  Polyps can bleed, so can hemorrhoids, but with colon cancer running in your family, you need to be extra cautious, especially the older you get. You need to seek a second opinion.
