I have been suffering with diarrhea for about 3 weeks due to Zithromax (antibiotic to treat bronchitis). I took flagyl 500mg twice a day for 7 days. The diarrhea stopped for 3 days but recurred again. Is it harmful to retake flagyl for a second round.
