difference in diagnosis

my husband suffred from NASH almost two years ago. He had to have a liver biopsy.  As a result we were told that he had features of chirrhosis. One of his doctors said that meant he had chirrohosis, one doctor said, No, it means you have feature of the disease, not necessarily the disease.  Is there a difference?

The doctors may be 'quibbling' about the degree of the disease - fully fatty and fibrotic versus slightly less fatty and fibrotic. Either way it means his liver is having a problem and he should be doing everything he can to try to stop the progression of the disease.
