I had a
fainting episode this past Feb. and several near
fainting spells where I actually saw

Mongolian blue spots and everything. Been to ER at least a dozen times and on 2 occasions have had to call ambulance. All tests come back
normalNormal saline flush but I have generally felt like garbage ever since with a real good day occasionally. For the last 2-3 weeks now whenever I eat I get very dizzy as if I am going to have another episode. This thing going on after eating is just lately, last time in ER Dr. said it could be GI related. It is like a constricting feeling around my stomach that feels like my

I have had a CT scan of my abdomen which came back normal except for an ovarian cyst which I had before 8 yrs ago and had it removed but I didn't have any of these problems with it then. The Dr said that it would not cause any of these symptoms such as the fainting, dizziness etc. Usually only abd. pain or discomfort and 8 out of 10 women have ovarian cysts and don't even know it. I am getting an ultrasound done tomorrow by my OB/GYN dr to see if it has shrunk and if not to discuss what to do about it. He took me off BC pill because of the problems I have been having as a precaution until whatever I have going on is figured out. My Dr. thinks it is anxiety/panic causing my problems but I am not so sure. I think if it is it is because of the problems that I am having anxiety/panic. It's like pulling teeth to get anyone to listen to you.My last Dr I canned actually told me to stop going to ER and put me on Effexor......what a jerk...I fired him right after. Any ans./sugg?
I was diagnosed with GERD about 8 months ago. I also have dizziness and lightheadness. Sometimes to the point where I feel like I am going to pass out, but never actually do. The dizziness and lightheadness seemed to start about the same time that I started having problems with acid reflux. I have asked the doc about it but claims the 2 can not be related. However, it seems mighty strange that I always seem to have the dizziness whenever I am having heartburn or the chest pains. Unlike you, the dizziness doesn't always happen after I eat. There are many times that I have heartburn or chest pain or both and I haven't had a thing to eat. Does anyone else here have these same symptoms, I am still convinced that the 2 are related. Thanks
I would be interested in the description of your dizzy spells, { both you ladies} mine are a feeling of being quite toxic sometimes nausaeting others not. They are definately incapacitating, not completely but i do find it very difficult to even speak correctly when they are upon me! as for esculators or travelators i nearly topple over after riding these even if i am only experiencing a light spell.I have the similar kind of dizzyness you might get from wearing someone elses glasses. I will keep you guys posted if i get anymore comments or advice from others you are the first two people i have met with the same kind of symptoms.
i wish you well.
good luck .. Chris

After lots of experimentation, I have found several things that I cannot eat. Vit C and lemons, especially lemon oil, in any form causes migranes.(for 3 days)
Could you be dealing with a food allergy? At lot of times we crave foods that cause us allergic reations.
About 3 years agao I thought that I was going to die. I started losing weight and could not eat much and was not digesting my food. I went to a heath-type dr. He put me on digestive enzymes & etc. It helped a lot, but I was still sick.
I did find that I could tolerate garbonzo beans easily. I ate them smashed with miricle whip on bread, in broth, and etc. I used to hate them, but I learned to love them becasue they were easy on my system.
Anyway, I took one of my kids to the dr with a terrible cold. The dr put him on amoxil (anitibiotics). I was starting to get a cold, too, so I asked him for some. Within 3 days of taking then, I felt like a new person. I still don't know what had been going on with me, but after that I was ok and on the road to mend.
I don't like anitbiotics and seldom use them, but sometimes, they have their place. I know that dr. don't routinely use them unless they know what is going on, but I wonder...???? if they might help?
Start making a record of everything that you eat and when you eat it and what kind of reaction you have from it. Since all the findings are that you are normal, then you have to find the abnormal, and the commom factor is the stuff you put in your gut
