do i need to have my gall bladder removed

recently i had an ultrasound and was diagnosed to have cholelithiases. biggest size is 1.6cm...i am so confused whether to have my gall bladder removed or not...been suffering from abdominal pain, heatburn. i had my hida scan yesterday. after 1hr observation images reveal further tracer accumulation in the gallbladder with faint visualization of the common bile duct. I was asked to drink chocolate milk. after ingestion of the chocolate milk show proompt tracer transit into the intestine...interpretation indicates patent hepatobilliary tree.no scintigraphic evidence of acute cholecystitis. please help me decide...
