dont binge drink...ever.

I drank alcohol for 18 days straight and recently started experincing upper left abdominal pain and green diarrhea, the pain is pretty much gone but green diarheaa is still there. How long will this last?
I have been to the e.r. and they say all is fine but to not drink and that I have a low platelet count.

Amazing, a smart alec response from a doctor. I like the fact that you actually took the time to respond but didn't even think to answer his question. Keep up the good work, doc!

@catalystforrevolution, Diarrhea means you are losing fluid rapidly and can cause you to become dehydrated, stay off the alcohol and drink LOTS of water. I would think you'll start seeing thicker stools within a few days, if not go back to a real doctor, hopefully one with a little bedside manner.
