Question: What would cause elevated iron levels. Dr. is rechecking but tells me he does not want to tell me what he is looking to rule out as he does not want to worry me. Of course since saying THAT......now I am almost desperate to find out what would cause such increased iron levels. I do not eat an enormous amount of red meat nor do I take vitamin supplements other than what he just started me on 2 weeks ago, the vitamin D.
My only symptoms are chronic fatigue and body aches/pain. Other than that, I feel pretty ok.
