epigastric hernia ?

I have had stomach trouble for several years. Recently have been having recurring episodes of burning stomach in the afternoon and evening and then diarhea (diarrhea) every morning. I take carafate 4 times a day as well as nexium and pepto bismal. Recently i have had this pressure under my lower rib cage and sometimes a charley horse feeling. I had inguinal hernia repair in Jan. and this charley horse feeling is almost like when my hernia would pop out. I would love to hear from anyone who might have insight into this.
