esophageal motility study

It been 2 years now since a bougie dialation procedure was done, my dysphagia is back along with having to belch after every swallow,i had 2 bo-tox injections prior to the dialation which was only a temporary fix.The gastroenterologist recommended a Hellers myotomy,a motility study was performed the results were 'normal LESp with high normal residual pressure,no relaxation with 100% simultaneous contractions" Diagnosis:achalasia with features of northwestern type 1 and 2.Would like to know from other members who had a mytomy procedure, did it work for them and how long did it last,hopefully forever.
