excess mucous in throat

I am trying to find a solution to excess mucous in the throat.  It makes me constantly clear my throat and/or cough.  I've been checked out by and ENT and Lung specialist. I've tried a number of treatments, but nothing has worked thus far. I am not bothered when lying flat or sleeping.

I, too, have that going on, but I have a chronic sinus infection.  I haven't found any cures, but I take Zyrtec once a day and the symptoms get better.  (Not totally gone, though.)  Hope that helps!
