excessive gas after surgery
I WAS SUPPOSE TO HAVE A LAPROSCOPIC PRECEDURE FOR A PARTIAL HYSTERECTOMY AND WOKE UP AFTER AN 8 HOUR SURGERY TO FIND OUT I HAD A HYSTERECTOMY, MASSIVE AMOUNTS OF ADHESIONS REMOVED  AND A BOWEL RESECTION DUE TO MY CROHNS.  MY QUESTION IS THAT IT HAS BEEN 18 DAYS SINCE MY SURGERY AND STILL HAVE EXCESSIVE GAS, IS THIS NORMAL?  I AM STILL ON PAIN MEDS SINCE MY INCISION IS SO LARGE.  HAS ANYONE ELSE HAD SURGERY AND THIS PROBLEM ALSO.  I KNOW YOU HAVE GAS AFTER SURGERY BUT THIS IS GETTING RATHER ANNOYING.
