fatty liver

Can a fatty liver cause severe pain in abdomen? Amylase is 283. Lipase is down to 16. Cholesterol is 212. Creatinine is 1.17 GFR is 54.(IE:Idiopathic Kidney disease.) Was told I have a fatty liver after a abdominal ultrasound to try to diagnose pain on right upper quadrant. Was told that I don't have gall bladder disease. Severe diarrhea when I do decide nausea is not to bad to eat. Don't eat red meat. I do take Vitamin B complex instead. Don't smoke or drink. No junk food. Had Nissan Fundoplication in 2006. Have lost 1/2 of my hair.LITERALLY! Exhausted constantly. Just want to sleep. Suffering from constant headache that just won't go away. HMO doesn't have a clue. Tired of being in pain.Oh yeah and that it's all in my head and that I need to learn to live with it.

What is the doc attributing the elevated amylase to? Has your pancreas been checked? I know you say your lipase is down to 16, so I assume that pancreatitis has been considered?
