...having internal hemorrhoids and diverticles in rectum only add to irritability. Hemmorhoids may be easily treated with laser or minor surgery.
During colonoscopy, spasm were triggered just with colonoscope. This suggests that your colon is quite sensitive. If I use word irritable, this suggests IBS -irritable bowel syndrome. If you have IBS, then particular foods or stress may cause this spasm (IBS is also called spastic colon).
In IBS symptoms (constipation, pain, or diarrhea) become worse shortly after eating, and are relieved after bm.
You can maybe recognize foods, or stress events, which makes you constipated.
the only reason i went for the colonoscopy is because of the flat stool never had pain or felt these spasms the doctor said that he noted the spasms during the colonoscopy in the sigmoid area i just took it for granted that these unfelt spasms were the cause of the flat stool it makes sence but what is causing the spasms?
When do you feel these spasms: anytime or during bowel movement, or shortly after bm?
