floating stools

I have had floating stools for about 3 months, I didn't think anything of it until I saw a show that mentioned this symptom.  I also have a very foul oder in my urine for about the same 3 mouth time.  Do you have any idea what this might be, a little history I do have a cyst on my andrenal gland that has been there for 3 years. thank you

Floating stools are usually from unabsorbed fat, and this may be due to liver or biliary tract disease (gallstones...). Fatty stool is foamy, floating, with occasional white patches, sticky and foul smelling.

Foul odor of urine may be from bilirubin (if urine is darker than usual). This is again from liver/gallbladder disease.

I recommend you to have:
1. stool fat test
1. ultrasound of abdomen for gallstones.
