food allergies and kids

by 2169, Dec 20, 2008 12:15AM
Is there anyone out there that has a child allergic to dairy, peanuts, eggs etc? Did your child have the eosinophil cells?
And did the cells go away?, after changing there diet and having meds? My son's cells did go away, I am just not sure if we should keep him on these meds or how long? And when do you start giving back some of the foods, and how accurate are these allergy test because he had an allergic reaction to almost everything??????
Has anyone had a great out come with this?? My son has been through a lot, he started off with vomiting everyday and the Dr's saying give it time it's a virus to emergency visits and hospital stays, come to find out it was these darn cells and food allergies! I would one day love to give him back his favorite food,PIZZA! Any Idea's thanks Wendy
