food poisoningp

I ate some spoiled chicken 2 days ago, and today spent all day vomiting over 16  times. Most of what came up was that chicken for over 8 hours until my friend picked up a prescription.
Is that unusual? The prescription was to stop the vomiting.12. Hours later my stomach hurts, hut I stopped vomiting after 8.hours! Is there anything else I should be aware besides fluids?

ok 1st off your body needs to eliminate that bad food, so stopping the vomiting was not a good idea. I had food poisoning from a bad burger, I threw up for 3 days, heavy and often 1st day then tapered off and eventually felt better, Went to Dr on 3rd day, he said people can die from food poisoning and it should be treated. He said to drink lots of water and if i could, to eat saltine crackers, they would absorb the bad acids and liquids in my stomach and help clear it up. I was ill for a total of 10 days but actually only threw up for 3, the crackers did seem to help so you may want to try them.

Hey kkat210
Welcome to the forum.
Sorry about your food poisoning and all your pain.
It is likely that it was Salmonella poisoning. Did you go to the E.R. for this?
At any rate, be careful to stay well hydrated, at all times.
For food poisoning, I know some people that took activated charcoal capsules, and
a friend of mine had taken buffered Vitamin C in powder form, for the same.
Please check it out as I have no personal experience with this.
I've only used  charcoal capsules for abdominal discomfort and bloating in the past.

I do know that Extra Virgin Coconut Oil (EVCO) has Anti-microbial, Anti-bacterial, Anti-viral  Anti-Parasitic and Anti-fungal properties. So you may want to look into that for possible healing and protection.
We all use it at home for health and wellness every single day!
Check  the coconut research center website for tons of info.
Human breast milk contains Lauric acid, also present in EVCO, and this is what gives
babies immune protection, when breastfed.
Hope this helps, and your suffering goes away without any complications.
Blessings,
Nikodicreta
