foods you cannot eat with gastroparesis

can people with gastroparesis eat cooked red beets?
Avatar_f_tn
Welcome to the gastroenterology community!  The big foods to avoid with gastroparesis are high fat foods and high fiber foods.  Beyond that, avoid any food that makes your nausea/vomiting/pain worse but I don't see why beets need to be avoided unless it causes a worsening in your symptoms.
