I had my gallbladder removed in November of 2000, and have had severe pain ever since. I,ve been reading this forume for along time and read you also had problems after surgery. I'm curious if your sphicterotomy worked to relieve the pain? I have had every test been to 4 different Drs. The last being at the Mayo clinic. Everyone of them agree I have pain, but will not test any further as to the cause. The Dr who did my
ERCP found pain was in the

Our hospital doesn't have the equipment to preform a ERCP with monometry which would tell for sure if that is the problem. The DR at Mayo didn't think the risk was worth taking. Even though my liver and pancreas levels are elevated. My dr gave me the option of finding someone to preform the manometry or having him go back in and cutting that sphincter. Knowing cutting it without knowing is only a 30% chance it will solve my problem. I know you had this done and I'm wondering if it helpped you any?
