fundomylipication reversal

I had the reversal surgery 1 month ago...just reading the stats of success. My Doctor told me that I would be able to vomit again if sick which I was unable to do due to the surgery and this was causing extreme abdominal pain and discomfort with excess bloating. My question: will I be able to vomit, will I have less bloating and discomfort? I now have a lump beside my abdominal incison....what could it be? Was this surgery a good idea?
