gall bladder stones

hi sir i am 51 years old and i am suffering from gall stones since 1 year and i was using homeopaty. but from 3 days iam suffering from severe pain and my ultrasonography of the abdomen has gave result as "mild hepatomegaly with spleenomegaly with thick gall bladder sand with just bulky pancreas" so please give me a advice to go for a surgery or not.

Hi there!

While a GB surgery may be advisable at this time keeping in view the symptoms; it is also important to identify the cause for hepato-splenomegaly and bulky pancreas. I would suggest consulting an internist for a detailed evaluation at this time and depending on the cause diagnosed/ suspected, it can be managed accordingly or specialist care may be sought.
