gall bladder?

i was diagnosed 2 years ago with a dilated common bile duct, and high liver enzemes. i was instructed to to see a specialist, which i stupidly did not. i had an ultrasound which showed a dilated duct, and then had a ct scan which also just showed the dilated duct. i figured nothing found... a good thing. after going back for a checkup, my dr was very angry that i did not go see the specialist. i am going soon, but now VERY NERVOUS. what could this be?

no stone found, could i have a stone and it not be seen on ultrasound and ct scan
