gall stones n pale stools

i have been told i have a few gall stones and they r about 2/3cm big im realy suffering bad wiv them now im waiting 2 have my gallbladder removed but now i have pale looking stools which seem very slimy is this normal?

Hi alex,

Pale stools are one of the symptoms you can have when you have gall stones.

If this is a recent thing, which has only just begun, please keep a check on yourself and look out for the signs of jaundice

thak you for replying 2 my question i have noticed yellowing 2 the whites of my eyes and only a slight tinge 2 my skin wot does this mean

If the whites of your eyes are yellowing you need to call your doctor and report your finding. They may want to consider moving the date of your surgery up a bit.

Hi alex, it does sound like you are suffering from jaundice which has been caused by a blockage from your gall stones. Contact your doctor to inform him/her, as calgal has said they may want your operation to be carried out sooner.
