gallbladder spasms

Is there a condition called gallbladder spasms?  If so, what are the symptoms, causes?  Can the spams lead, in some way, to chronic gastritis?  Thanks.

There is a condition called SOD - sphincter of Oddi dysfunction - that is the result of spasms of the common bile duct or the sphincter - the muscular opening to the duodenum of the bile duct. The symptoms resemble a severe gallbladder attack, and during an attack the liver and pancreatic enzyme levels are raised - so blood tests have to be done within about 12 hours of an attack.

The spasms do not lead to gastritis, unless bile is being refluxed into the stomach..
