gallstones 13 years after gallbladder removal

for 6 weeks now i have been having similar pain to that of gallstones i have been to the dr twice now  he has run a few test an is sending me (back) to a gastroenterologist (the same office that did the surgery) he has already done some test  and has found no evidence of billyruben  but say's " i just keep coming back to the gallbladder " my question is is there any thing that mimics gallstones (and he found no evidence of any mass in my abdomin (abdomen)) this is very painfull and driving me crazy plus going weeks between appts and taking meds that dont help (treating for doudenal ulcar, and they are big ugly white ones)

You can form gallstones without the presence of a gallbladder, so that possibility needs to be checked out. It's also possible to develop spasms of the common bile duct or sphincter (muscular opening to the duodenum) of Oddi that can mimic gallbladder pain. While your waiting to find out what's happening, you may want to consider following a low fat diet. It may help.

my mother in law is in hospital temps of over 40 and after 3 days they say she has gallstones with he gallblader removed 4 years ago  what can they do to fix this
