gallstones and acid reflux

I recently had an ultrasound of my gallbladder because I was having pain under the ribs on the right side and under the right shoulder blade. They found some small stones but I am also having pain under the left side of my ribs some times under the left breast whenever I eat it gets worse and no matter what I eat I am always burping it up. Have been taking Prilosec for it but it's not any better. My question is can problems with the glallbladder bring on acid reflux disease.

The symptoms of gallbladder issues and acid reflux can often be very similar, so it can be difficult to figure out what may actually be the problem. Both left and right-sided pain can occur with either condition. You may want to ask your doc to also run a HIDA scan with CCK injection. It will tell you how well your gallbladder is functioning. Sometimes the stones cause problems, other times they don't. The HIDA may give you some indication.
