Tell him that if he doesn't find a solution to it you'll find someone who can. Then, live up to that threat. It's your health. Don't worry about hurting his feelings or the fear of finding a new doctor. If your current doctor can't or won't help you, ditch him and find a doctor who knows how to help you.
Commenting on your condition:
I don't know what you have, but try changing your eating habits. Reduce dairy, fat, soda pop, sugar, and other stuff like that. Eat TONS of vegetables, because it really does help. Also, drink lots of water whenever you can. Diet is often the most important and easy thing to fix with health issues. It's so easy, in fact, that most people don't do it.
Online research also says to eat yogurts and bananas (to replace good bacteria). It also mentioned build up of toxins, which is why diarrhea happens in the first place. It's trying to get rid of the bad stuff. "Diarrhea can be a symptom of something more serious, like appendicitis or any other intestinal or digestive issues. You may want to know how to get rid of stomach aches and how to do a colon cleanse."
I'm sorry you're in pain! Hopefully my comment helps a bit.
