gas pain with other issues

for two years now I have suffered with the same problem. it ussually starts with really bad gas pain, my stomach will distend and I will be almost imobilized by the pain, this lasts about a day. after that I will have very bad constipation, I will feel like I need to use the bathroom but nothing will come out this last anywhere from a couple of days to a couple of weeks. its like having diareah(sorry about the spelling) but with no relief. after that I do get diareah that will last about five days. I have bloody stool and a white muccuse discharge with every bowel movement. while this occures durring the entire 'process' i feel very tired and lightheaded. I have gone to the doctor but they say nothing is wrong. I have really bad psoriasis and that is all the Dr. seems to care about. since it started two years ago it has only become worse. before it happend about every two or three months, now it seems that I am always at some point in this horrible cycle. How do I make the doctor listen to me and refer me to a specialist? what could this be? I have looked at chrones diesease but I dont have all the symptoms. no blurred vision, no mouth sores.

You dont have to always have all symptoms of something to have it. 2 things i think you need to have checked is Celiac's and yes Cronh's. Celiac's there are upwards of 300 symptoms and they are the same or close to what you can have with Cronh's. my mom has Celiac's and i to thought i did till yesterday i saw my GI and what did it was that i have lower right side pain and thats signs for Cronh's so i am going for colonoscopy of the 14th. good luck and keep looking till you get the answers that you need i have its been long time and to have a bit of hope that i see the light at the end of this long tunnal is gratifying and it only happened cuz i was my own advacete please keep me posted as to how things go.

Tell him that if he doesn't find a solution to it you'll find someone who can. Then, live up to that threat. It's your health. Don't worry about hurting his feelings or the fear of finding a new doctor. If your current doctor can't or won't help you, ditch him and find a doctor who knows how to help you.

Commenting on your condition:
I don't know what you have, but try changing your eating habits. Reduce dairy, fat, soda pop, sugar, and other stuff like that. Eat TONS of vegetables, because it really does help. Also, drink lots of water whenever you can. Diet is often the most important and easy thing to fix with health issues. It's so easy, in fact, that most people don't do it.

Online research also says to eat yogurts and bananas (to replace good bacteria). It also mentioned build up of toxins, which is why diarrhea happens in the first place. It's trying to get rid of the bad stuff. "Diarrhea can be a symptom of something more serious, like appendicitis or any other intestinal or digestive issues. You may want to know how to get rid of stomach aches and how to do a colon cleanse."

I'm sorry you're in pain! Hopefully my comment helps a bit.
