gastritis pain with normal EGD?

ok please explain someone..i have had gastritis the last few months..it was diagnosed through barium xray..i took the prevpac cuz one doctor did blood test and it came back postive for h pylori and my g.i. doctor kept me on prevacid for another 6 weeks..so at the end of those 6 weeks he did an endoscopy which he said my stomach was normal no inflammation (wouldn't you know tho that for 4days before and after EGD i didn't have the first problem with my stomach). now however my stomach is irritated again and has that sandpaper feeling in it...is it possible to have gastritis that comes and goes like that? could it be the h pylori again?( i had a breath test last week still waiting on results of it) any info. that anyone has or advice would be greatly appreciated
