Is it posible to heal the stomach lining after severe gastritis. I haven't been pain free for an entire week for 7 months

Why not? The human body is a miraculous thing that definitely responds positively to care. Here are a few things you can do to get such a response:
1. Completely STOP consuming alcohol, coffee, tea or beverages that have caffeine, and sodas.
2. STOP consuming any kind of spice in any form, be it chillies, black pepper, bell pepper, garlic, onions and others.
3. STOP consuming tomatoes, citrus fruits/food, sweets/chocolate.
4. STOP consuming milk (especially full fat, thinking it will ease the pain), for it causes more stomach acid to be generated for digesting the fat and protein.
5. CUT down drastically on fatty foods, oils.
6. Cut down from a high-protein diet, for it causes more acid to be generated again.
7. TAKE (a) tender coconut water every day (any time), (b) Aloe Vera juice in the morning and evening, (c) a spoonful of Manuka honey before every meal, (d) low-fat yogurt with active cultures (probiotics) after lunch and dinner, (e) depending on what you eat, a couple of tea-spoons of "ghee" (clarified butter) before or along with your lunch and dinner (By the way, ghee won't raise your cholesterol. If anything, it will lower it), (f) regular potable water every now and then (it flushes any acid).
8. Exercise daily, if possible. Include deep breathing.
9. Take your doctor's prescribed medicines too.

Hey Mark,

Just wanted to say I have had these same issues for 11 months now :(  Started right after my 21st Bday which is the worst timing ever.  Haven't drank alcohol all year.  If you find anything that works for you let me know! I take 40 mg of nexium once a day also.  I'm on a super bland diet and have tried so many home remedies but nothing has worked.  So you aren't alone!  Do you feel nauseous a lot?  I have stomach pain but am also nauseous every day.
