giardia

Two years ago we drank bad water.  Our baby, after eight months of a list of symptoms, was finally diagnosed with giardia.  Treated for a long time, he seemed better.  We all did.  Then after a year a second baby was born.  Again the list of symptoms.  Sure enough, giardia.  Treated with appropriate treatments, she really has never gotten better and we all continue to suffer with these symptoms:  gas, bloating, loss of appetite, fatigue, stools that are messy, greasy, smelly, undigested food that come with cramping, etc.  Now they can't diagnose us at all.... we are afraid we will never be ourselves again and the children seem to suffer so.... we were having symptoms prior to baby's birth but they couldn't find anything in our stool so we never could get help.  Will this nightmare ever end?  Some of the docs won't admit the giardia is even the problem....

The illness you have might be Celiac. Have you tested it? Celiac and Giardia can sometimes be confused with one another. Try avoiding wheat.
