gj feeding tube...with pancreatitus(pancreatitis)

I have no idea where else to turn. My husband has a bad bout of pancreatitus (pancreatitis) again. The doctor wanted the pancreas to heal so put in a gj tube in his stomach to bypass the stomach and pancreas and have the good go into the small intestine,  His pancreatitus (pancreatitis) was about 1 month ago and he has been on the feeding tube about 3 weeks or so. The doctor said the tube can come out after he eats one whole meal and feels fine.  Well we tried pudding and he gets stomch uncomfortableness. I guess I want to know if this is normal and he just needs to fight thru it to get to the end result or if he does that is he doing more damage. Today we tried jello and again got the same icky feeling (no pain just uncomfortable) about 1 hour later. He has a drainage tube that he blocks while he tries this, Today he had real bad acids in his stomach after he ate the jello so unblocked the tube. He is so stressed out and wonders why his body is not doing what it needs to do. We had a ct scan and showed everything lookes good. There is a small psydo cyst 2cm.  He drinks a lot of water and clear liquids but with the drainage tube they come right out. If anyone can help me as to what we need to do to get his body back to normal and get this tube out of him I would really appreciate it.
