groin pain and hip

Hello I'm a 58 yr old female, who had has all my removeable parts taken out, except tonsils and apendix..overies gone,  gallbladder, uterus, its all gone...Problem, 2 weeks ago got out of bed and got a sharp pain in hip, this continued for ages and still is..problem when the pain starts it goes to my groin both sides then goes down my right leg  and it gets o bad i curl up in a ball and scream...I had xray nothing broke, but seeing as i have no health care at the moment i can't get to a dr without having a large bill and husband been off work for 3 mo we be goin to work soon but njot yet..yesterday i actually passed out it was so bad, and funny thing is it feels as if all my muscles are shrinking as i can't get my right foot to the floor when it starts.My dr gave me Soma and it does help a little not a lot..please we are about to get a job and it involves traveling  long distances..someone help i need to know if this groin issue is serious and can someone help? It sounds like a nerve problem. But  I have arthritis of the pelvis, and at one time had serious back pain for a day, then it went away.  Every now and then, I have a twinge, but no more.  For the pain to travel down your leg leads one to believe that your sciatic nerve is involved. It also sounds like something that had been brewing for quite sometime.  I would just bite the bullet and while having the serious pain, and go to the ER.  I know it's expensive, but you can pay a small amount monthly.  Since both you and your husband are out of work, maybe you could get medicaid temporarily, so that you can return to work, worth a try!
