My grandson was just diagnosed with Celiac disease and the more I checked into it, the more i realized food allergies can cause a million different problems. Go to an allergist!!! Celiac's disease (gluten/wheat intoleranceCeliac disease - sprue Gestational diabetes Lactose intolerance) can cause the symptoms you have. Check it out!
Gluten intoleranceCeliac disease - sprue Gestational diabetes Lactose intolerance is a problem for many - young and old - and it's unfortunate that more people - doc's and individuals alike - don't have a clue about this condition. It may or may not present with 'typical' symptoms and is often overlooked by doc's when they do a workup. The other unfortuante thing is that the tests to detect the presence of celiac issues are not 100% perfectPerfect choice.
I'd like to chime in on what you said, zmombomb, and add an additional suggestion. If people think they might be celiac or believe they have problems with gluten, give a gluten-free diet a try for several weeks. It's not as hard as it sounds and it just might solve the 'what is wrong with me' question for them.
