help

my husband sometimes has free bowel movements and sometimes is constipated but lately very seldom has a GOOD bowel  movement. He says he constantly feels the urge to go "poop"   He says it is almost like having a corn cob stuck up his butt. He does not have stomach pain, but just the constant feeling of having to "poop" Like I said it is never a whole lot and sometimes it is soft stool and sometimes it is hard. What's going on? Can anybody advise?

Hi,

My husband has same thing. Constant urge to poop. He is even scared to go out for long travel worrying that he might feel it anytime.

Have you got any solution?

He may have IBS but should see a specialist and have a have a cononoscopy to rule out other things.

He may have internal hemorrhoids making him feel the pressure like he has to go all the time.  It would be a good idea for him to talk to his doctor about this though.
