extreme fatigue. he is 57 years and has had these symptoms for about a year he is also a bicyclist but has not ridden outside for 8 months was diagnosed with pulmonary bilateral embolisms in april and is currently on warfarin until october these p e's were caused from a broken
ankle which happened in jan of this year our dr does not believe his symptoms are due to the warfarin and has done extensive lab work to try and diagnose him sometimes he is in actual tears with his pain he has a history of alcohol binging which goes back to his early twenties but his liver numbers are good recently we found out a little about hemochromotosis and have asked for the nessary test which is scheduled for next week does anyone out there have any suggestions? his level of pain and fatigue are scaring me thank you
Your husband has all the symptoms for Hemochromotosis. It usually appears in men between 40 & 60. As it worsens it can cause serious problems including heart and liver problems. But he does have every symptom. The skin color usually gets yellow and then turns to a bronze color. I would have him take it easy until he can get his test for this.
