hepatocellular carcinoma

My mother has just recently been dignoses with hepatocellular carcinoma advance only according to a ct scan which was done. A biopsy was finally done but still dont know the results and they say they werent able to get good sample.Mean while my mother keeps having constant diahrea every time she eats and is has poor appetite, needles to say she is not absorbing any nutrients. I am concern, because she wants us to do everything for her but i dont know what everything is. The doctors are only giving me an option of DNR  and palative care. My first question should I get her transfer to another facility to get 2nd opion or options? And why she have the diahrea and what can be done to keep nutrional support for her? I am very worry that I going to loose her earlier then i should. Please help.
