Hi,
Looookup had a good suggestion, but unfortunately it's a bit convoluted. Do yourself a favor and join/download ******************.com
It's way easy and you won't regret it.

I had pain from GERD and underwent a nissen fundoplication. Since then, I've been able to enjoy spicy foods, but have constant abdominal pain and bloating due to the bodies inability to expel gas naturally through belching or flatulence.
Although it sounds like you "need it", I'd certainly do my research and consider a partial wrap as opposed to a full (nissen) wrap. Unfortunately nothing is easy..
Best of luck!
Hi there,
Try getting this out of print book at Amazon. It helped stop my pain. Hiatal Hernia Syndrome by Theodore Baroody, Jr. It describes the pain I was having to a "T" and a manuvere you can do to push the stomach back down which really helps. Basically, you lay down and have someone press from your midline around in a curve under your ribs outward to your side. (Hard to describe). I would have my hasband do this to my front and back a couple of dozen stroke at a time and this was very effective when I was in intense pain. I also found that loosing weight and walking the track at the gym taking wide steps so that area is stretched is very hepful for keeping the hernia down. Good Luck
