Hello, I have had digestive problems for years but they got really bad 3 years ago - intense nausea, extreme weight loss, discomfort approx. 1 to 3 inches above my navel - sometimes right quadrant... I need to get the scan done - My question: Is it possible to get the scan with CCK and use a anti-nausea med. shortly before the test to prevent potential vomiting during the test... I have put off this test for a long time because of my concern of getting sick from the test itself... My daughter just recently had her GB out... Hers had been processing fats poorly and emptying slowly... They gave her an injection of zofranZofran Zofran odt before her scan because she was barfing all over the place... She has had one setback VERY shortly after the removal. But since then she is doing great!! I have had an endoscopy done, CT scan, colonoscopy, bloodtests for celiac (I had been gluten free for a long time already) - all negative - I went gluten free 2 1/2 years ago and was able to eat a lot more - however - even with being gluten free I have problems with grease/fat/spicy foods and try to avoid them as much as possible... any help or advice would be greatly appreciated! Thanks! thinman
