high amylase and lipse with abdominal pain

I have pain in the lower right groin, also the right shoulder area level with the armpit and about 2 inches from the side. I have some nausia and bloating but no vomiting. First test of Amylase and Lipase yielded 161 and 153 values. Second test of Amylase and Lipase 8 days later yielded 70 and 23 values.

CT scan showed normal liver and pancreas.

Any ideas?

Check this site www.emedicine.com under hyperamylasemia. It gives lists of conditions that elevate amlase. You can probably find more there.
