high ast alt and alp

by ericae, Aug 31, 2008 07:19PM
Hi,  I recently got some blood work done after seeing my doctor about a swollen lymph node in my groin.  The blood work came back and showed high LFT's.  The results were this: alp 248, ast 63 and alt 101.  My doctor ordered me to get an abdominal ultra sound and I am still awaiting the results on it.  I am a 20 year old female, don't smoke drink or do drugs and rarely take tylenol or that of the like. Around the time I went to my doctor about the lymph node I was feeling very nauseas and was not eating much.  I get very tired often and the lymph node is still swollen but does not hurt much anymore which I was told it was the ones that don't hurt to worry about and to me it has moved further down in the groin area.  Could this still be just a lymph node or perhaps something else like a tumor or something?  Also, what do you think is causing such high LFT's?  Thank you for your response.
