history of ulcers and wont stop throwing up blood

My boyfriend has a history of serious ulcers and when he is under a lot of stress he throws up blood, not just once or twice but all the time and can't hold down his meals. He has no health insurance and has applied and been denied a few times due to pre-existing conditions. ie: the ulcer, brain trauma in a snowboarding accident and scarlet fever when he was 7 years old. He can't go to the doctor and I'm freaking out.

I've done some reading about ulcers (because I thought I had one) and this sounds very serious and maybe even life threatening if it worsens.  I know your boyfriend doesn't have insurance, but I would still take him to the ER.  They can't turn him away.  He may be able to work out a payment plan with the hospital or apply for financial assistance.
