how do i know if i have kidney stones or just an infection?

I have very uncomfortable pain in the lower right side of my back and the pain has spread to the side of my body. I want to urinate constantly and the feeling doesnt go away. i always feel like urinating. ive been drinking lots of cranberry juice and its helped to ease the pain of urination but still hurts when i've just finished urinating. Do I have kidney stones or a kidney infection or just a simple UTI?

It's difficult to say, but with your symptoms you need to see your doctor and get a diagnosis.  An infection will only get worse and spread.  The sooner you get treatment the better.  Take care...
