indigestion and radiating pain
has anyone had such severe gasto-intestinal problems that has sent pain up your chest to your jaw and upon drinking water it calms it down?

Are you drinking warm water, and that calms it down? Some with esophageal spasms have found they can sometimes calm them down with the ingestion of warm water.

Esophageal spasms are often associated with acid reflux/GERD or Barrett's esophagus. If you haven't spoken with your doctor you may want to consider doing so.
